The reason the tides are so acute is that the new moon will be back with us on Wednesday. The lowest of the low tides will be on Tuesday at 3am, but on both Monday and Tuesday, a pretty low tide will happen around 3 pm. The week will be mostly sunny, Tuesday being the more partly cloudy, with highs from mid to high 80s and lows in the low 60s. The wind will be a more frequent visitor all week. The water temperature is at 78 this morning after hitting 79 yesterday so I am on the lookout for jellyfish. The rip tides were pretty spectacular yesterday with that high surf. The surf should abate somewhat today but if you have a board, plan on going surfing at 11 am tomorrow morning.
