Alstom has completed the installation of its first air pollution control system in an oil-fired power plant in Mexico. Many asked about the power plant upgrades and this notice confirms that one of the three units has been commissioned and is operating. This was posted in June of this year. Apparently the others are still to come.
Editor’s Note: For those who are not in residence, visible smoke continues to boil out of only one of the old stacks. The rest seem quiet although it would be nice to think that the one finished stack is actually operating and we just can’t see it. One large crane remains on site, so maybe more work is still to be done. I will keep you posted if and when my top secret undercover agent, Bob Sanz, discovers more facts.
